Dr. Jennifer L. Evans is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health & Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. She earned her PhD in Health Education and Promotion from The University of Alabama, and an MEd in Health Education and BHWP in Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas State University. Her research interests include investigating sexual violence via digital platforms, bystander interventions, and college student sexual health issues with a special interest in condom negotiation strategies and hookup culture. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and a certified sexual assault advocate for the local sexual assault resource center. Dr. Evans is an active member of SOPHE, APHA, and ESG.

Meghan E. Burroughs, PhD, MA, CHES®

Bradley University

Dr. Meghan E. Burroughs is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Education at Bradley University. Dr. Burroughs received her PhD in health education and promotion from The University of Alabama and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Her main areas of research focus on substance use and abuse of young adults, specifically marijuana use, and social media-focused research, specifically violence and women’s health issues.
