Dr. Parks is an experienced educator and health administrator with a background in post-acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital quality and risk management. Dr. Parks currently works as an Associate Professor and the MPH Program Director in Public Health Sciences at California Baptist University (CBU) and as a healthcare quality consultant. Dr. Parks serves as the SOPHE Trustee for Professional Preparation. Prior to her current role, Dr. Parks worked previously as a Director of Managed Care at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and a Research Associate for the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.

Lee G. Renfroe, Ed. D., CWC“The greatest wealth is health.” (Virgil) This has been Dr. Lee Renfroe’s belief and her mantra for 35+ years of her professional life, as she focuses on helping people improve the quantity and quality of their lives through health behavior change. She is currently a health promotion professor and a certified wellness coach, working with undergraduate and graduate students, to prepare them to work with patients, clients, customers and participants in professions that address creating healthy lifestyles. She is trained as a health educator and her focus is application of healthy behaviors into a maintainable lifestyle. She believes in living her best life and she wants to help others to do the same! By the way, if you enjoy a good southern accent, you definitely want to attend this session! Lee was born and raised in Alabama and her classic southern sound will be evident when she utters her first word!
