Yoga Slow Flow
This yoga class moves at a slower pace and offers longer holds as you flow through your yoga practice. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose instead of moving to each breath. Great for all levels. DISCLAIMER: It is essential that you retain full responsibility for your own physical and general well-being in applying instructions in this guided program to your own circumstances. The golden rule is 'if it doesn't feel right then don't do it'.
Betsey Clark
Betsey (she/her/hers) started her yoga practice in 2014 after years of feeling curious but too intimidated to step foot in a yoga studio. Eventually, after being dragged by a persistent friend, she found a sense of community and a connection with her body through yoga that she hadn’t experienced before. Slowly, deeper benefits of the practice emerged and she was hooked. After years of practice, she decided to dive deeper by completing her 200-hour teacher training in Asheville, NC.
Now, she enjoys introducing yoga to those who are also feeling intimidated or hesitant to take that first step; by focusing on creating a comfortable environment and a lighthearted spirit throughout class, because before everything else, yoga should be fun. Betsey also finds fun through traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants; all with her 12-year-old pup in tow.
