Welcome to SOPHE’s destination for the Institute for Higher Education Academy (IHE Academy).  

SOPHE, in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Healthy Schools Branch, is pleased to share this information for knowledge and background purposes. Recordings from previous IHE Academies are available on-demand via log in with your SOPHE eLearn account.  

The IHE Academy enhances participants’ understanding and trains participants on the essential tools required of teachers responsible for teaching health education and physical education in K-12 schools, with a focus on health education teacher preparation. IHE Academy presenters include renown leaders and trainers in the field of health education and school health teacher preparation.
