Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the characteristics of high-quality health education curricula for pre-service teachers.
- Identify strategies to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion and Social Determinants of Health into current and future health education curricula.
- Integrate key Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Healthy Schools tools and resources within their health education curricula for pre-service teachers.
- Develop an action plan to strengthen their health education teacher preparation programs.
