Breaking the Silence: The Role of Screening in Physician-Initiated Firearm Safety Conversations

This article investigates what practitioners perceive to be barriers to firearm safety. Especially when it comes to preventative education on this topic. This article includes a qualitative data study collection of 36 New Jersey physicians who gives insight the perceived barriers in providing secure firearm storage counseling.
