Demonstrating the Use of Technology to Foster Sexual Health Best Practice Conversations at a University presented by Anusha Sampath
Participants should leave this presentation able to: demonstrate the use of technology to teach about stigmatized topics based on observation of emerging trends revealing a lack of resources addressing nuanced conversations about sexual health best practices, assess implementation of sexual education modules to provide a comprehensive, university level approach to address sexual health best practices based on internal data, and describe the necessity of comprehensive sexual health education in a university setting based on emerging trends ans internal data reflecting lack of sexual health best practices.
Building an Accessible Health Education Ecosystem: Key Insights from Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) presented by Claudia Zurlini
Participants should leave this presentation able to: identify and describe three tailored interventions used to enhance education and self-management for priority populations with musculoskeletal conditions, analyze ways to implement at least two key components of HSS's model in their other organizations, ensuring the delivery of programs to effectively engage populations and address barriers to access, and learn about the importance of musculoskeletal health education for community and patient populations.

Dr. Rhonda Rahn, PhD, MS, CHES® (Moderator)
Texas A&M University
Dr. Rhonda Rahn is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. She earned her PhD in Health Education, M.S. in Health Education, and a B.S. in Health from Texas A&M University. She currently teaches allied and community health students in the Division of Health Education. Prior to teaching, Dr. Rahn spent 10 years as the Health Education Coordinator and 3 years as a Health Educator in the Department of Student Health Services at Texas A&M University. Her research interests investigate college students' health behaviors including sexuality and peer health education. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals and have presented at national and state conferences. She is a professional member of SOPHE, ACHA, and TAHPERD and a Certified Health Education Specialist. Dr. Rahn has mentored undergraduate students and new professionals in a variety of different roles as a member of SOPHE, a professional health educator, and a faculty member. Her students have gone on to be health educators or have continued their education in graduate or professional school programs.

Amrita Sidhu, PhD (c), MDS, MPH
Amrita Sidhu [PhD (c), MDS, MPH] is a 3rd year doctoral candidate at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion with minors in Epidemiology and Healthcare management and a methods breadth. Amrita has a background of clinical dental practice that makes her a bridge between clinical and research aspects of healthcare. She completed her Master of Public Health from UT Health, Houston with a certificate in Maternal and Child Health. Bestowed with the induction in Delta Omega Society in Public Health, she was among the 2023-24 cohort of ASPPH’s This is Public Health Ambassadors and currently serves as a TIPH Ambassador advisor for the 2024 cohort. Her doctoral research focuses on HPV vaccination recommendations by oral health providers. Amrita has accumulated diverse research, publication and project coordination experience in her role with Native It's your Game. Amrita Sidhu brings a unique blend of academic expertise, research acumen, and a passion for community well-being.

Anusha Sampath
Anusha Sampath is a fourth year public health undergraduate student at California Polytechnic State University, who will be graduating in Spring 2025. Anusha has completed her prerequisite courses to apply to medical school. She had an interest in reproductive and sexual healthcare and joined the Sexual and Reproductive Health lab on campus in 2022. Since then she has assisted with research to examine attitudes and behaviors surrounding sexual activity on a college campus.

Claudia Zurlini
Claudia is a public health professional specializing in health promotion and empowering individuals and communities through accessible education and self-management strategies. With extensive experience in virtual program development, she oversees initiatives at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) that target underserved populations by reducing barriers to health information and resources. Claudia's work includes creating digital ecosystems for musculoskeletal health, where she leverages her expertise in virtual learning platforms to provide weekly and on-demand programs that reach millions of participants globally. She is committed to fostering equitable health access and promoting patient empowerment through education.
