This article explores the link between perceived discrimination in medical care settings and the affects it has on medical care. The priority population of this article were type 2 diabetics from the All of Us Program. This article includes a study of 135 Type 2 Diabetic patients that helps show how cultivating inclusive environments can create a space where health care providers can improve positive outcomes.
