At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Identify factors and understand how the lack of representation in mhealth apps contributes to the Black maternal health inequities.

2. Learn more about Black women-owned mhealth apps and how they can include them in their public health research, health promotion, and advocacy.

She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and Howard University Culture, Communication, and Media PhD student with a focus in Health Communication. She is an active member and NJ Chapter Delegate of the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) and NJ Ambassador for Black Ladies in Public Health (BLiPH). She is passionate about improving the health/racial disparities, health equity, and health literacy in the Haitian communities she serves.
